She played numerous roles including Adriana in A comedy of errors, Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and a seminal Cornelia in King Lear opposite Paul scofield. In the 80s she played Regan to Olivier’s Lear in Granada TV production. She returned in 66 to play Viola in Twelfth Night. Other excellent work. In this House of Brede made for CBS in 70s, Emmy nomination. She was also twice nominated for The Avengers.
